A Parent's Perspective of Cumberland Academy

I was initially drawn to Cumberland Academy because it is an autism school in Atlanta. My son was diagnosed with autism at a young age, and I wanted to find a school that could provide him with the best possible education and support.

Cumberland Academy has exceeded my expectations in every way. The teachers and staff are incredibly dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. They have created a warm and welcoming environment where my son feels comfortable and safe.

Most importantly, Cumberland Academy has helped my son make tremendous progress academically, socially, and emotionally. He is thriving in all areas of his life, and I am so grateful to the entire Cumberland community for everything they have done for him.

I have been attending Cumberland Academy for three years now, and I love it! The teachers and staff are dedicated to helping each student succeed. I have also really enjoyed being able to take advantage of the innovative technology and 21st-century skills that the academy has to offer.

Cumberland Academy   is an independent, non-profit school for students with academic and social differences in grades 4-12 and post graduate.   Students are children with high functioning Autism, Asperger’s, ADD, ADHD and other learning differences.  The academy also encourages an appreciation for the arts, making it a well-rounded learning experience for all students.
